I'm sorry to ask an out of topic question, but this is the only japanese
mailing list I subscribe.

- A friend of mine is asking me whether it is possible to have japanese
domain name, preferably *.co.jp for company/someone  that resides
outside Japan.  If it is not possible can anyone who lives in Japan (not
necessarily Japanese) reserves a domain name for him. I have visited
www.jpnic.ne.jp but could not find that information.

-  I could not find the cost registration either (well, my japanese is
very poor).

- Can someone recommend me with a good web hosting company in Tokyo
which provides Linux, PHP3, MySQL and mod_perl (optional). My friend
would probably need 50 MB for start.
